WHY HAVE TWO RATES AND WHY LOCAL SOUTH AFRICANS PAY LESS?

  • South Africa has a population of 58Mil
  • 17% of the population make up the majority of Tax Payers
  • The Average South Africa Monthly Salary is R11,400 Per Month - UK is £1950 x 22 = R39,000
  • Internationals enjoy a very favorable Ex-Change Rate
  • A South African family of 4 simply can not afford 40% of their monthly Salary for a Trip
  • Whale Season has 4 main months AUG-SEP-OCT-NOV
  • Crew, Office, Boat Maintenance and Operating costs all need to be paid yearly
  • Whale watching is a humbling experience that should be available for everyone
  • We support many local schools and provide 100's of Free Educational Trips to the under privileged
  • Please be understanding and respect why we have two rates!
