Helicopter Flight and Whale Watching Combo

 

Helicopter Flights depart from the V&A Waterfront, fly over the Hottentots Holland Mountain Range, then descend into the charming coastal town of Gansbaai, situated in the Overberg region, widely known as the best spot to view the majestic southern right whales.

It is also here, where shark diving and whale watching are world-renowned draw cards.

We have partnered with Cape Town Helicopters to offer you an entirely exclusive flight and shared whale watching boat trip, you can privately charter the boat as an option when booking your flight.

Helicopter Flights can be booked at short notice but should you wish to privately charter the boat it is advisable to book well in advanced.

Whale Watching - (Jun - Dec)

 

Whale watching trips take place from June to December however, should the whales change their migration schedule we will adjust our schedule accordingly.

Generally the trip last 2 hrs, but can be longer depending on how quickly we find the whales.

• HMV The Ivanhoe - 10am or 1pm boat trip
• View Southern Right Whales
• Dolphin
• Cape Fur Seal
• African Penguin
• Marine Birdlife
• Boat Trip takes 2hr and you return to Harbour at 12 Noon.

Once you have returned to harbour you will be given time to have a bite to eat at a local restaurant or you can head straight back to Cape Town.
